Ticker Tom / Food and Fun Camp The Go Healthy with Ticker Tom program is a fun and interactive program for children and youth ages six to 12 that is facilitated by community groups throughout the province, with numerous programs in the central region. Ticker Tom is a cool cat whose messages focus on the benefits that eating healthy, an active life-style, and staying smoke free can have on health and wellness.
The Food and Fun Camp Program promotes the same Ticker Tom messages, but also includes other hands on activities such as interactive cooking sessions, work sheets, games, grocery store tours and outdoor hikes. These programs are designed to be interactive and fun while teaching and reinforcing healthy living messages.
